About the Slots Comparer Website

As a slots player myself with several years of online playing behind me, one of the most frustrating things is not really being able to tell if I would like a game that I am unfamiliar with. The casinos tend to assume that if I like a specific theme then I'll like all games with that theme and while it's true that players do tend to be drawn to themes like Rome and Egypt for example, there is no guarantee the games will appeal to players simply because of the subject matter.

So the aim of Slots Comparer was to create a resource that makes it a lot easier to find games I would like, based on " game-play" and features rather than the theme. In fact, there are 4 ways you can search on the site depending on whether you want to find certain types of games, games that have features in common with ones you already play or even casinos that have the best choice of your favorite slots.

The casinos listed on Slots Comparer are all established and well-managed brands. They appear in a defined order based on their relevance to the search you have just conducted, the total number of slots they offer and whether they accept players from your country. Those that do accept your country appear as blue links, those that don't are black.

There is one small compromise in the data relating to the number of games covered. I decided not to include platform-dependent games by a handful of smaller but relatively well-known developers (including Rival and Top Game) because, in my 10+ years of experience playing online, I haven't found an online casino who licences those platforms that I feel I can recommend and that's a key part of Slots Comparer: I have played at virtually ALL the casino groups listed here - and many more - and only list those I feel safe at myself.

There are a few games by those providers here but only where they have been individually licenced by casinos I know are good and trustworthy.

But those holes are minimal: all the games by all the big developers are here: Aristocrat, IGT, Net Entertainment, Microgaming, Playtech, Novomatic, Realtime Gaming, Next Gen, WMS and plenty more besides.

It's taken a while to build this resource as you can imagine but, with the help of a small team of experienced slot players, the data you see at Slots Comparer is more comprehensive than you will find anywhere on the Net and encompasses an ever-growing list of over 2000 online slot games.

RTP, sometimes referred to as 'TRTP' (' theoretical return to player') can vary from casino to casino but much of the time is consistent. The RTP data shown on this site is taken from casinos that publish the information but should be regarded as demonstrative rather than actual. The Addiction Site of Manitoba has an excellent description of RTP if you want to understand the impact.

Every game has around 50 pieces of data recorded, many of which you will see displayed on your search results and some of which are simply used to match games behind the scenes.

Among the data for each slot game matched in each search are features such as stacked, expanding, replicating or transferring wilds, which reels the feature triggers are on, progressive jackpot levels, jackpot triggers, random reel generators, payline indicators, the type of animation mechanism employed, RTP and volatility data and much, much more.

Take a look at an example search for Cleopatra, one of IGT's most popular games to see what you get!

I am pretty confident that 99.9% of the data for each game is correct but every now and then a gremlin gets into the system and if you find it, I'd love to know. Please drop me a line if you find one and I'll fix it up for others.

The slot videos & RTP Info that you see on Slots Comparer are sourced from Slotjunkies whose library of videos shows the bonus features of each game in play.

The casino data is maintained externally and is integrated via an authorised feed from Casino Comparer which is a sister application to Slots Comparer and deals exclusively with online casino data and service levels.
